9º Festival Internacional de Videoarte

1. Se podrá enviar un máximo de 1 videoarte por artista o colectivo de cualquier temática y encualquier idioma, aunque preferentemente subtitulado en español e inglés, sin límite de duración, de edad o de creencia, realizado en los 3 últimos años.
Las obras presentadas serán parte de la programación PROYECTOR2016 y pueden ser incluídas en la sección "Proyectiles" para ser proyectadas en los diferentes festivales internacionales con los que colaboramos.
Así mismo estamos buscando videoinstalaciones (monocanal, multicanal, interactivas), intervenciones, proyecciones en el espacio público, vídeo-performances, que serán presentadas a modo de intervención en los diferentes espacios con los que colaboramos.
Además se pueden presentar propuestas de talleres de videoarte, con su presupuesto y características.
2. Los trabajos serán seleccionados por un jurado de especialistas internacionales coordinado porPROYECTOR para su proyección durante las muestras y festivales.
Dado el carácter independiente de PROYECTOR, éste no cuenta con medios financieros para pagar honorarios de caché a los artistas participantes. En caso de surgir alguna posibilidad de pago por proyección PROYECTOR lo consultará oportunamente con cada artista.
3. Una vez finalizado el Festival los vídeos no serán devueltos sino que pasarán a formar parte del archivo de PROYECTOR para futuras muestras sin fines de lucro. El envío de las obras implica que los artistas autorizan la proyección de sus trabajos por los medios que PROYECTOR considere para su difusión. El derecho de autor sobre la obra es propiedad exclusiva del artista realizador de la obra quien permite a PROYECTOR su exhibición y difusión. Las proyecciones serán siempre de carácter gratuito y en caso de que una institución acoja el proyecto se intentará pagar un caché a los artistas.
4. PRESELECCIÓN: Los vídeos deben estar online, tanto en abierto como en versión privada sólo para ser visto por proyectorvideoartfestival@gmail.com.
Junto a los vídeos se deberá acompañar de esta ficha técnica y mandar al emailproyectorvideoartfestival@gmail.com:
- Nombre artista/s
- Título de la obra
- Duración
- Año de realización
- Artista: Nombre / Nacionalidad / E-mail / Web / Mini- CV (no más de 5 líneas).
- Descripción (no más de 5 líneas).
- 1-5 fotografías de la pieza.
5. SELECCIÓN: Los artistas seleccionados serán contactados por email en primavera de 2016 y se les pedirá el envío digital del archivo en formato máxima calidad, preferiblemente MOV HD o MP4 HD, pero se aceptan trabajos PAL, o inclusive tecnologías low-tech si tiene sentido para el artista.
6. El envío del material implica la aceptación de estas bases y todo aspecto no contemplado en este reglamento será resuelto por PROYECTOR.

PROYECTOR16. OPEN CALL
9th International Videoart Festival
OPENCALL: 25 oct - 30 nov 20151. One Videoart per artist or collective without any restriction of theme or language would be admitted; please, include Spanish and English subtitles when needed. The video must have been produced during the last 3 years.
Selected works will be part of PROYECTOR16 program. Also they can be part of “Projectils” in order to be screened at the different international festivals we collaborate with.
Other formats are admitted as interventions in the different spaces of the Festival: Video-installations (monochannel, multichannel, interactives), interventions, projections in public spaces, video-performances.
Also videoart´s workshops can be submitted. Please, include description and budget.
2. All works will be selected by an international jury coordinated by PROYECTOR for their screening in different shows and festivals. Due to the independent and non-profit character of PROYECTOR, the festival has not financial resources for artist fees. However we will inform the artist in case of any possibility of payment.
3. Once the Festival would be finished, the videos will not be returned; they would be part of the PROYECTOR's archive for future screenings with non-profit motiv in mind. The sending of the works would mean that the artist agree with the screening of the video piece and its use in any media that PROYECTOR considers useful for the spreading. The artist would keep all the rights and the property of the piece, and PROYECTOR is only authorized for its exhibition and spreading. All projections will be free and, in case of a Government institution involvement, we will try to get funding for the artists fees.
4. PRESELECTION: All videos have to be online, open or in private but with the permission to proyectorvideoartfestival@gmail.com.

- ARTIST: Name / Nationality / e-mail / website / CV (less than 5 lines)
- Description (less than 5 lines)
- 1-5 photos of the piece.
5. SELECTION: All selected artists will be contacted by email during spring. They will be asked to send the a best quality digital video file, preferably MOV HD or MP4 HD, but we admit PAL or low-tech formats if needed.
6. The sending of the works would mean the agreement of the rules. Any aspect not include in these rules will be resolved by PROYECTOR.
