A white canvas is carried through a city. The empty white surface catches shadows of city signs, lamps or rubbish bins and transforms them into art. The canvas does not only represent a white wall of the legendary white cube or the substrate for a not yet painted painting but also works as an allegory for the cinema screen which escaped cinema. For an instant the white screen provides a projection surface for a monochrome film dedicated to the fleetingness of time.

"Todo individuo, independientemente del momento y el lugar que ocupa, es víctima de la realidad, de su mutabilidad y del tiempo. No hay nada perdurable, todo está en continua transformación. Devenir, corresponde al continuo cambio, nada permanece porque todo es un flujo constante, una corriente dinámica y continúa. En este proyecto se hace referencia al Ser y al hecho de vivir en un proceso perpetuo. El proyecto hace referencia al Ser y al hecho de vivir en un proceso perpetuo. La obra promueve la idea de tomar conciencia del devenir, de la realidad entendida como proceso o muda, que a veces se opone a serlo. El objetivo principal de este

proyecto es manipular la imagen de forma que el público reflexione sobre el cambio que sufrimos tanto en nuestra propia piel como en nuestra sociedad."

En “Ciudad Planeada (São Paulo)” el plano original de una ciudad tiene su forma cambiada con el mover de las piezas que forman sus calles y manzanas. El nuevo plano que se forma al largo del video, es seguramente menos eficiente como espacio urbano que el mapa original (de una ciudad real). Más allá de un pensamiento utópico, ese trabajo está basado en intentos donde el error y la experimentación son fundamentales.

55 Westgate Road, is a short film by Rosie Morris with working in collaboration with sound artist Sam Grant. Created using time-lapse photography, the film captures the daily movements of sound and light which animate the abandoned space of an old Georgian building in Newcastle, UK.
